• • When should I contact QuickCargo Group to begin coordinating
my move?

Time is essential to properly prepare an international move. The longer you take to plan, the better we coordinate all the details, such as obtaining the necessary documentation, contact our agent on arrival, arrange transportation, make reservations, set dates for packing, stowage. etc.
It is important to establish dates in packing time for us to meet the agreed dates.

• • What to send in an international move?

• • Who will provide services on arrival?

QuickCargo Group works with a worldwide  network carefully selected. Our agents will offer services in the country of destination you need.
This service usually includes customs clearance at the port or airport on arrival, transportation to your residence, download. There are other services like unpacking (of furniture), arrangement of furniture and removal of empty packing material.
Normal services do not include delivery in second homes, delivery up of a second floor, handling of heavy objects like pianos or safes, delivery on Saturdays or Sundays, overtime, furniture assembly, third party services, parking permits, blasting, carries (and stairs). If you need any of these services please inform us in advance so that they can include in our quote.

Will there be additional costs at destination?

The costs of a normal moving door to door are included in our quote. However, there may be additional costs, depending on many circumstances: such as access to his residence, lack of documentation, parking permits, delays and storage, taxes and duties, customs inspections, etc.. These costs can not be calculated and therefore are not included in our quote.

• • How to calculate the volume of my move?

The movings are calculated in cubic meters or weight. For this we recommend, as far as possible, reduce the volume of each object / disassembling furniture.

• • Can I do the packaging myself?

Due to provisions of insurance, we recommend that you DO NOT pack yourself. Any object that is not properly packed for us, is not covered by insurance. • • What is a binding estimate?

The bill of lading is a document that proves ownership of property and contract with your mover for transportation. The driver who loads your property must give a copy of bill of lading. It is your responsibility to read and understand the information contained in the bill of lading before signing.


• • What is an inventory?

The international moving inventory is a detailed list and valued of all items in the shipment and their condition at the time of receipt by the removal company. Make sure everything in the inventory is correct.
