35 to 40 days before your move

• If you are moving your vehicle make sure you meet the requirements for import / export
• Deciding what to take and what not. Separate property not want to transport.
• Review airline reservations.
• Gather all your personal documents, birth certificates and marriage records, etc
• Get your International Driving Permit.
• Cancel subscriptions to clubs, magazines and newspapers.
• Notify your departure to schools.

• Assign the necessary repairs: shoes, watches, electrical appliances, clothes, etc.
• Visit your doctor and do a physical exam the whole family: update vaccinations and get enough medicine for one year.

• Check that your passports and visas are valid.

20 to 30 days before your move

15 days before your move

• Set the cutting of services: telephone, cable TV, etc..
• Remove your belongings from schools, gyms, clubs and offices.
• Return or retrieve borrowed items.
• Drain gasoline from lawn mower engine, and any other motor transport.
• Remove plants and perishable food.
• Clean garden tools, bicycles, etc..
• Provide care for their children and pets for moving day.

07 days before your move

• Give all shipping documents signed and complete a QUICKCARGO Group
• See if your bank can make a turn to your new bank.
• Purchase travelers checks.
• Acquire the necessary medicines for your family.
• Prepare transportation to the airport.
• Plan to clean your home once the move is complete.
• Close bank accounts.

01 or 02 days before your move

• To be present or at least reachable by cell phone
• Separate personal effects that you travel with keys, documents, passports, tickets, certificates, money, clothes, medicines, toiletries, maps, games, books, etc.
• Confirm your airline reservations.
• Disconnect and clean all appliances that you want to transport.
• Defrost and clean the refrigerator.
• Turn off lights and lamps
• Disassemble furniture.
• Agree with neighbors or the building manager to leave sufficient parking space for the vehicle from moving.
