Plan how you will pack. Pack items first that you do not use often, such as belongings stored in the basement, garage or attic.
Start packing as soon as you have confirmation that you are moving - people often underestimate the time it takes to pack.

Never pack flammable items or restricted.
Use enough paper in the box about the top and bottom to form a good mattress.
