They must ask the Argentine Consulate in the country an authority to proceed to import firearms. With this certificate the holder must apply personally to RENAR www.renar.gov.ar (National Register of Arms) and obtain permission to import weapons.

The arms should be placed near the door of the container to facilitate verification by the Customs Argentina. It may be despatched the rest of the load but the weapons must remain in customs custody until the proceedings before the RENAR is finalized. This process can take 15 to 20 days. Once the customer completes this process, Customs releases the weapons Argentina.
